Recognizing sin leads to examining what sin is and where sin is.
Examination is uncomfortable and exposes sin.
Exposing sin leads to scrutinizing every word and action.
Scrutinizing leads to the discovery that every word and action is tainted with sin.
Discovery of this leads to the need for a Savior to confess to.
The need for a Savior leads to Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ leads to the cross.
The cross leads to Heaven.
The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God.В For it is written:
«I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.»
